Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Equipment/Tools Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Ensure availability, organization, and proper handling of commissioning test equipment and tools for global HVDC project sites.
- Plan and coordinate sufficient stock levels to meet ongoing and upcoming project requirements.
- Prepare and organize site-specific sets of test equipment and tools based on project scope, schedules, and commissioning timelines.
- Support commissioning managers in developing and maintaining project-specific instrument and tool lists.
- Coordinate quotations with external suppliers, prepare purchase requests, and collaborate with the supply chain team on procurement activities.
- Manage and process invoices related to test equipment and tools.
- Oversee packing, logistics, and global shipping of equipment in collaboration with commissioning managers and logistics teams.
- Provide technical and operational support to site teams regarding test equipment issues and inquiries.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and tracking for all equipment and tools.
- Ensure all tools and instruments are properly calibrated and valid for use throughout the commissioning period.
- Monitor market developments to identify and recommend new or improved test equipment.
- Organize and facilitate training sessions for commissioning engineers on test equipment usage and maintenance.
- Coordinate with third-party rental companies globally when additional or temporary equipment is required.
- Provide accurate cost inputs and insights to tender teams for equipment and tool-related budgets.
- Track, monitor, and report on the financial performance and budget utilization related to test equipment.
- Participate in lessons-learned sessions, share best practices, and promote continuous improvement across the commissioning organization.
What you bring:
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
- Proven experience in coordinating technical equipment and tools within industrial, commissioning, or engineering environments.
- Strong organizational, planning, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Practical understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project requirements and timelines.
