DESCRIPTION

Sinch Operator Relations Europe & LATAM is looking for an Account Manager to join our team and drive growth in messaging. You’ll manage key operator partnerships and bring new operators into our network, helping expand SMS and RCS offerings and creating real value for both clients and Sinch. Your insight into regional markets and ability to navigate complex operator relationships will be key to driving results.

This is a hybrid role, open to be based in Stockholm, Sweden or Madrid, Spain.

  • Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing operator accounts across Europe & LATAM, including contracts, renewals, and identifying new messaging opportunities (SMS and RCS).
  • Build relationships with new operators and expand Sinch’s messaging footprint in the region.
  • Apply deep product knowledge to identify, shape, and secure new commercial opportunities with cross-functional teams.
  • Own account plans and pipelines to achieve regional commercial targets, including identifying key contacts, building relationships, and driving agreements.
  • Develop targeted engagement plans for high-priority “must-win” opportunities in alignment with leadership.
  • Coordinate between Mobile Operators and internal technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding and contract implementation.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to manage routing, billing, settlement, and support Enterprise Sales in delivering optimal solutions and pricing for customers.
  • Use insights on regional regulations, market trends, and competitive dynamics to develop country level strategies that optimize Sinch’s operator portfolio, reduce costs, and strengthen our regional position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a commercial role within the messaging ecosystem, working directly with Mobile Operators in Europe and/or LATAM.
  • Proven success in developing new business, with a strong knowledge of the messaging ecosystem, regional market dynamics, and competitive landscape honed at a messaging service provider or operator.
  • Established network from the industry and region, and the ability to navigate complex deals, including A2P monetization.
  • Confident relationship builder with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Curious, motivated, humble, and willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with experience working across cultures in a global organization.
  • Independent decision maker who can take ownership and deliver results.
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Able to travel when required within the region.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

  • Experience working at a Mobile Operator in wholesale, roaming or VAS.
  • Hands-on knowledge of A2P monetization with contacts to key decision makers.
  • Technical and commercial understanding from a role in a technology company.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • Additional languages, including French, Spanish and/or Portuguese.
