Bioinformatics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support omics data analysis for internal and client projects, collaborating closely with project teams and wet-lab scientists to interpret results
• Participate in customer-facing technical service projects, providing bioinformatics analysis and technical support
• Provide customer support for bioinformatics products, including guidance on analysis workflows, troubleshooting, and result interpretation
• Receiving, organizing, and managing NGS sequencing data；Running established bioinformatics analysis pipelines
• Developing, maintaining, or updating analysis pipelines to improve performance and robustness
• Support the IT setup of the site team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, Computational Biology, Statistics, or a related field
• Familiarity with NGS data analysis workflows and common bioinformatics tools
• Experience with at least one of the following: R, Python, or Linux
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both internal teams and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analysis of single-cell data or similar data structure.
• Experience in building, automating, or maintaining bioinformatics pipelines
• Prior experience in technical service, customer support, or client-facing roles
