Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The assignment focuses on strengthening a development project with deep mechanical design expertise, with an emphasis on structural design and optimization in a robotics-related context.

In this role, you will work across complex engineering challenges that require sound technical judgment, collaboration with adjacent functions, and the ability to turn analysis into practical design recommendations. • You will contribute to a development project focused on new and improved mechanical design solutions.
• You will design and optimize mechanical structures using SolidWorks.
• You will perform engineering analysis and technical studies to support design decisions and recommendations.
• You will plan, coordinate, and drive complex engineering activities within one or more technical disciplines.
• You will work closely with internal teams and related engineering functions to move development forward effectively.
• You will prepare reports, conduct analyses, and use digital tools to support design work and decision-making.
• You will apply standard engineering principles and practices independently while making sound technical judgments toward defined goals.

• More than 6 years of work experience within the relevant field and a Bachelor or Master degree, or another technical degree with 15 years of work experience within the relevant field.
• Extended experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Strong experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Ability to independently perform complex engineering work and coordinate activities across functions.
• Working command of the English language.

• Knowledge of moving cable harness.
• Knowledge of casting and machining.
• Knowledge of gear wheels and moving structures.
• Previous experience in R&D Mechanics.
