Business Development Manager – Lubricating Grease

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth in our lubricating grease business. This role combines market intelligence, technical insight, and commercial acumen to identify opportunities, support customers, and strengthen our market position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Intelligence

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.

2. Business Development

• Develop and execute plans to expand our customer base and enter new markets.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

3. Application Support & Insights

• Collaborate with technical teams to provide application-specific solutions.
• Translate customer needs into product and service innovations.

4. Marketing Tools

• Support the creation and deployment of marketing materials and campaigns.
• Ensure alignment with brand strategy and customer engagement goals.

5. Operations Support (Manufacturing Process)

• Liaise with production teams to ensure product quality and delivery.
• Provide input on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

6. Product Management Support

• Assist in product lifecycle management, including launches, updates, and phase-outs.
• Contribute to pricing strategies and value propositions.

7. Subject Matter Expertise (as needed)

• Provide expertise on projects, production costing, and other technical/commercial topics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, preferably in lubricants or industrial chemicals.
• Strong understanding of grease applications and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.

Technical background (engineering or chemistry) is a plus.
