Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior HIL/VIL Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Maintain and operate VIL rigs with Vector systems.
• Perform software downloads, diagnostics, and gateway testing (Basetech).
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis at complete vehicle level.
• Perform log analysis using CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing accuracy and system reliability.
• Manage software updates and ensure correct configuration of test environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

What you bring:

• Practical experience in Basetech testing, including SWDL, diagnostics, and gateway validation.
• Strong skills in log analysis using CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
• Proven hands-on troubleshooting experience in vehicle environments.
• Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Deep understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Experience with OSB, Cynosure, and Confighub systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
• Valid Swedish B driving license.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Meritorious experience in continuous integration (CI), baseline and binary management, and test automation.
• Positive, forward-looking attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
