Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and optimize thermal management systems using a holistic approach across different propulsion and technology areas
• Balance QDCFSS (Quality, Design, Cost, Feature, Sustainability, Safety) criteria to ensure optimal project outcomes
• Prepare, review, and present technical documentation, including system specifications, reports, and stakeholder presentations
• Manage project deliveries, communicate effectively within the team, and ensure milestones and deadlines are met
• Mentor and coach colleagues, sharing expertise and supporting knowledge transfer within the team
• Contribute to project roadmaps and strategies, linking your work to overall business and technical strategies
• Act as a recognized subject matter expert for complex discipline-related issues and provide guidance to project teams

What you bring:

• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in system engineering, preferably within thermal management
• Strong expertise in hardware/software integration and thermal management systems
• Understanding of different propulsion systems and their thermal requirements
• Experience with relevant engineering tools used
• Excellent analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience as a project lead, with ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in both Swedish and English
• Recognized expert and mentor, capable of coaching, educating, and guiding colleagues
• Strategic thinking with the ability to link discipline-level work to broader technical and business objectives
