Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Master Data Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Establish and lead the Data Steward function and define a master data governance model for the organization.
- Develop a methodology and framework for sustainable and efficient master data management (MDM).
- Implement Golden Record principles and set up a data quality control tower to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of key data.
- Define and document processes, roles, responsibilities, and governance structures to support effective data ownership and accountability.
- Contribute to the implementation of prioritized master data objects within the system environment.
- Conduct legal and regulatory analysis related to data management, ensuring compliance with applicable data protection and governance requirements.
- Design and deliver training and awareness initiatives to build competence in master data management across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with IT, business stakeholders, and data owners to secure alignment between governance, process, and technology.
What you bring:
- Proven experience establishing and managing master data governance models and data stewardship functions.
- Deep understanding of MDM principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.
- Experience with Golden Record implementation and data quality monitoring tools.
- Strong ability to design processes, documentation, and training that foster data-driven culture and ownership.
- Knowledge of data-related regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a structured and analytical mindset.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
