Technical Tester role in a banking/finance environment

As a technical tester, you will be part of an agile team in the bank's release train. You act as a test specialist, ensuring that test processes are followed and that the right things are tested. You contribute to the team's test strategy and drive automated tests at multiple levels.

Tasks:

Review requirements and technical specifications.

Create, execute and automate

tests. Search or generate test data.

Perform regression tests, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Be responsible for non-functional tests (performance, security).

Set up monitoring of test environments.

Participate in forums with other testers and contribute to a learning culture.

Qualifications:

Experience in banking/finance/insurance

At least 5 years of experience in technical testing/automation.

Knowledge of Java, Python or C#.

Experience with Playwright, Cypress, RobotFramework or similar.

API testing with SoapUI, ReadyAPI, Postman or equivalent.

Version management in Git.

Automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of mocks and test data via APIs.

Experience with agile methods (e.g. SAFe).¨

Knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud services and test certifications.

Must have Swedish citizenship.
