SSAB - Compensation & Benefits Specialist
We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to strengthen our Group Compensation & Benefits HR Team.

About the position
We are looking for you who want to develop knowledge and experience in HR Compensation & Benefit matters. The scope of the role is to drive our variable pay program processes as well as hands-on support to the HR team in Compensation & Benefit tasks including base pay, pension, benefits, compliance, mobility. You will report to Head of Compensation & Benefits based in Stockholm and also work closely with several functions including the HR and Finance community at SSAB.
The role provides an opportunity for someone who have good financial understanding and is skilled in excel and analytics, and at the same time is keen to work closer with people/HR related matters. You will have own areas of responsibility with great opportunity to influence and improve ways of working in the area impacting company financial considerations and people drivers.
The position is temporary until July 2027.
Main responsibilities
- Manage variable pay program processes including short- and long-term incentives as well as profit sharing.
 - Be the point of contact and drive improvements when it comes to program administration. This include both internal process and system improvements as well as external vendor collaborations.
 - Support HR in employee contract administration (executive level) including information about variable pay programs.
 - Support group HR team in various C&B matters.
 - Work close with the rest of the C&B team, also include reviews according to “four-eyes-principle”, compliance and governance matters.
 - Active participation in the development of new global HR system for the company. The work include review of concept and processes, testing, requirement on reports and analytics.
 
About You
We believe that you are interested to learn and adapt previous experience to new areas of responsibilities, have the ability to manage processes with some support and are motivated when you get to take own initiatives. You have an analytical mindset and you’re comfortable working with numbers. You have good communication skills and can build trust and support the organization in a professional and confidential way. Naturally, you have high integrity, and you pay attention to details.
- You have relevant work experience from working with finance and/or HR with a strong business and financial mindset.
 - You are keen to expand your knowledge working in the field between Finance and HR and also a legal compliance mindset.
 - Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or other related areas or equivalent preferred.
 - Excellent written and oral language skills in English. Swedish and/or Finnish is required.
