You will ensure our global drilling products and solutions remain market-leading while building a high-performing and inclusive global R&D organization. Your mission As Global R&D Manager for Drilling, you will plan the future development of products and platforms for underground drilling, aligning R&D activities with the division’s business goals. You will lead global teams to deliver high-quality, innovative products. You will also promote agile and digital ways of working across the organization. A key part of your role is leading through other leaders, developing both managers and teams through coaching, feedback, and responsible delegation, to ensure continuous learning and improvement. You lead through others with confidence and clarity — empowering managers and teams through coaching, feedback, and trust. You bring energy, direction, and a sense of urgency to your leadership, inspiring those around you to take initiative and deliver results. Your responsibilities include * Drive a global R&D organization with a clear and forward-looking vision. * Set ambitious mid- and long-term product and platform roadmaps for underground drilling segments. * Promote agile and digital ways of working across product development. * Engage and influence cross-functional teams and strategic partners to deliver on shared goals. * Collaborate closely with Market, Operations, and strategic partners. Who you are You have a Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally in mining, robotics, or advanced engineering. You have experience leading global R&D organizations, managing through other leaders, and building motivated, high-performing teams. Strong managerial, strategic, and communication skills are essential. You are a visible, caring, and courageous leader who balances strategic focus with operational deliveries.
