Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Configuration Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Define, implement, and ensure adherence to configuration management processes throughout the full lifecycle of systems, products, and services
- Manage configuration items and related product information, applying both technical and administrative control across all lifecycle phases
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between design, purchasing, manufacturing, and marketing to ensure that all product changes—whether improvements, repairs, or new developments—are accurately documented and traceable
- Lead configuration planning and requirements definition during early development stages
- Oversee control, change management, and traceability during system evolution and production phases
- Support continuous improvement of configuration management methods, ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to structured, high-quality project delivery across the organization
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Proven knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: configuration management, product lifecycle management (PLM), or traceability management
- Strong interest in structure, order, and process improvement within complex technical environments
- Analytical mindset with a positive attitude, strong initiative, and excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Eligibility to pass required security clearance according to current defense industry regulations
