Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior System Tester to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Plan, execute, and document system-level tests for complex automated mechatronic systems where mechanics, electronics, and software interact
• Perform both lab-based and field-based testing of embedded systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Configure, maintain, and optimize test environments including both hardware and software components
• Design, develop, and automate test cases, for example using Java
• Analyze test data, system behavior, and software logs to identify issues and ensure system stability
• Collaborate closely with developers, test managers, and product owners to verify functionality and ensure robust integration across subsystems
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test methods, tools, and processes

What you bring:

• Engineering degree in mechatronics, electronics, systems engineering, or equivalent
• Proven experience in testing and verification of embedded systems
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, and Jenkins
• Hands-on experience with scripting and test automation, preferably in Java
• Understanding of HIL/SIL testing, sensors, and control systems
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with industrial or robotic systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of Java-based software and experience in mechanical and electronic integration are meritorious
