Senior Java Backend Developer (AWS, Kubernetes)

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a robotics-focused team building cloud-based services for next-generation robotic solutions. You will help design, develop, and scale backend capabilities in a modern cloud environment, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable microservices.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java (Java 11+)
• Build and operate distributed systems and microservices for robotic applications
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and run solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway)
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Support and improve infrastructure as code practices using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Participate in code reviews, testing, performance tuning, and continuous improvements
• Work in an agile, cross-functional team across the full development lifecycle

• Strong proficiency in Java, preferably Java 11 or newer
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway
• Proven experience building and maintaining distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Good understanding of infrastructure as code, such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Fluent in English

• Swedish language skills
