Lead Engineer Powertrain-Product Design

Required skills:

1. Good experience in development of overall powertrain system & packaging of On/Off highway equipment’s

2. Working experience in designing of powertrain components like Engine, Transmission, Axles etc.

3. Aware about emission norms at different geographic locations

4. Good understanding of ongoing market trends in vehicles like EV, Hydrogen Fuel cell etc.

5. Knowledge of PLM, PDM system, Engineering change management

6. Working knowledge in sheet metal, weldments will be added advantage

7 Good knowledge of 3D Modelling / Drafting

8. Working knowledge of CATIA V5.

9. Able to handle the NPD & Customer Engineering tasks, maintain the quality and follow delivery of assigned tasks

10. Able to handle team of 3-4 engineers with different assignments and co-ordinate & develop relationship with global clients.

11. Create manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards

12. Build CAD models, Assemblies, Drawings required for integration and BOM creation in PDM

13. BE/ME Mechanical Engineer with 8-12 years of experience

14. Work with customer on initiating new design work packages and defining scope of work.

15. Regular meetings with Cyient team to maintain quality and productivity and engage with customer team
