In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the embedded software used in control systems, in compliance with Classic AUTOSAR Experience Coding in Embedded C using Green Hills(GHS)IDE, Debugging, unit testing on Vector Cast. You will work closely with system engineers, software architects, and test teams to develop, analyze, and validate safety-critical software solutions that drive next-generation electrified and combustion-based powertrain technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classic AUTOSAR Experience Coding in Embedded C using Green Hills(GHS)IDE, Debugging, unit testing on Vector Cast
- Experience on MCAL,BSW & CDD
- Experience of AUTOSAR Stack COM, NVM &Diagnostics
- Experience in Unit Testing using Vector Cast
- Experience of Functional safety standardsISO26262 & MISRA C compliance
- Code generation using Davinci Configurator & EB Tresos
- Experience in analyzing of requirements & traceability mapping into IBM DOORs
- Knowledge of Agile scrum Sprint planning, task estimation task assigning to the team, Code review & project plan Software Development &Testing for Telltale Indications, Speedometer,
- Tachometer, Gauge Module, Line Test &Supply diagnostics Contribute to the creation and maintenance of safety work products, such as Safety Plans, Safety Cases, and Impact Analyses.
- Support safety audits and assessments (internal and external).
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment on safety goals and process conformance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in embedded software development or safety engineering within the automotive domain.
- Proven experience with ISO 26262 (at least up to ASIL C, ideally D).
- Experience with safety-related software development (e.g., MISRA C, AUTOSAR, model-based design).
- Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Understanding of safety mechanisms in powertrain applications such as torque control, E-motor control, or transmission control.
- Experience using tools such as Vector DaVinci, PTC Integrity, IBM DOORS, or similar for requirements and safety management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR or Classic AUTOSAR platforms.
- Knowledge of powertrain electrification (e.g., hybrid or full EV systems).
- Experience with model-based development (e.g., Simulink, TargetLink).
- Knowledge of SPICE or ASPICE-compliant development environments
