Sushi Chef

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to work part time in a high-volume sushi kiosk (only take away) located within a supermarket environment. Working time is mostly mornings and only daytime.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare sushi and related food products daily as per the given menu in accordance with quality and hygiene standards
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, food safety, allergen, and labelling requirements
  • Support sales with customer interaction and do tasting to improve sales.

Required qualifications

  • Practical experience of working in sushi preparation and fish cutting with good speed
  • English communication skills
  • Swedish language skills to read labels and interact with customer

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience of working in a franchise environment for sushi making
  • Food safety and hygiene related trainings
