Ericsson AB Join our Team About this opportunity: Join Ericsson to lead the SWEA program within Standards & Technology (S&T) in the BNEW RCE unit. You will drive 3GPP RAN standardization efforts, align internal concept development and external standardization delegation work with Ericsson product roadmaps, strengthening our RAN technology leadership and patent portfolio. What you will do: * Lead the SWEA program (approx. 150 staff from BNEW and Ericsson Research), coordinating cross-functional work across internal concept development, external delegation, matching needs set by external agenda * Define program targets, manage budget and resources, and report progress to stakeholders; drive prioritization and cadence for external and internal activities. * Contribute to technical workstreams, foster innovation, and pursue relevant IP rights while driving changes across Ericsson. * Grow the team and culture to enable innovation, collaboration, and high-quality execution; ensure competence development and stakeholder alignment. * Collaborate with Ericsson Research and Engineering units to deliver aligned program strategies and secure cross-unit buy-in. The skills you bring: * Proven leadership in steering complex, global programs with multi-stakeholder input; strong experience in 3GPP RAN standardization and market ecosystems. * Excellent communication, transparency, and ability to empower teams; experience teaching, mentoring, and developing individuals and organizations. * Broad knowledge of RAN products, technology flow from research to productization, and capability to scout and incubate new technologies. * Strong network within BNEW and Ericsson Research; ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders inside and outside Ericsson. * Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in engineering or related field; relevant experience and leadership credentials are a plus.
