Job Title: Interface Engineer

Location: Stosckholm, Sweden

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to join our engineering team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing technical and functional interfaces between various disciplines, contractors, and project teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution across all phases of the project.

The role requires a structured and proactive professional who can identify, track, and resolve interface issues while maintaining effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage interfaces across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.

Identify and document technical interfaces, ensuring clarity and alignment between work packages and contractors.
Develop and maintain the interface management plan, process, and register.
Monitor interface progress, resolve conflicts, and follow up on agreed actions.
Collaborate closely with engineering leads, project managers, and site coordinators to ensure consistent project delivery.
Support change management, risk mitigation, and reporting activities related to interfaces.
Ensure compliance with project standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or similar).
Several years of experience in interface management or coordination within large-scale industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of multidisciplinary project execution and systems integration.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in relevant project management tools and document control systems.
Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is an advantage.
